Tabby’s Place is a strong supporter of TNR, or Trap-Neuter-Release. Over the years, we have TNR’ed hundred of community (or “feral”) cats and have supported TNR efforts across the state. Sometimes, however, we trap cats that we don’t end up returning for a variety of reasons. In the case of seven cats that we trapped at a local correctional facility in early 2020, they were just too friendly to go back outside!
Katie is a lovely all black girl. She can be a little shy when you first approach, but if you are gentle with her, she immediately warms up. She loves to play and climb up high so she can supervise “the help” as they clean her room. She is sweet, young, and healthy as far as we can determine. She is best friends, in particular, with her buddy Scofield.
All of the cats trapped at this site are friendly with each other and people. They would love to be adopted out in pairs or in homes with other cats. While they have never lived in a house before, they are all well behaved and have transitioned well to indoor life.
Do you have room in your heart and home for these wonderful cats? Come and visit them any day during our public hours. Please see our Visit Us page for updated information.
